Slide Original Holder Diagram

Loading tab: is tab must face into the scanner. A magnet inside the

scanner grabs the holder here.

White calibration slot: Before each scan, the scanner makes a white

calibration through this opening.

Tension springs: ensure that each slide is positioned correctly as it

loads into the holder.

Slide clasp: grabs each slide from the magazine.

Flexible back plate: this exible metal plate is wrapped onto the

internal virtual drum of the scanner.

Rigid top plate: this rigid plate holds and supports the slide.
